Spooky Board Game Night

What’s the best way to kick back and relax after a hard day’s work?  Here’s an idea:  Fight a bloodthirsty zombie horde!

Just for fun, I recently started hosting “Spooky Board Game Night” at the Denver-area geek mecca Enchanted Grounds.  Not just a cool coffee shop, but also a top-notch game store, comic book store and social hangout all rolled into one.

If you happen to live in the area, drop by and learn a new game!  Want to set up your own Spooky Board Game Night?  Just grab a game, invite some friends and have a blast.  Here are a few of my favorites:

Betrayal at House on the Hill

Last Night on Earth

and (although it’s not exactly spooky), my personal favorite, the 1975 classic DUNGEON! (complete with exclamation point).

Just remember the #1 rule:  Have fun!

  1. Oh, man! I never knew there were spooky board games. I gotta get out more.

  2. Yeah, forget Monopoly! Although these days, I wouldn't be surprised if someone put out a Vampire Monopoly . . . (Vampopoly?)
